Mission

To help students become disciple-making disciples who will bless, influence, and transform the world for
God’s glory—one person, one family, one neighborhood, one city at a time

About Us

The teenage years are very crucial in the development and formation of each and every individual
human being. There is much change—sociologically, physiologically, emotionally, spiritually, and
physically—that students must go through and endure, which can be very overwhelming. In the midst of
these changes, our desire is to partner with parents and leaders in order to provide a safe and stable
environment where students would be able to explore and test their faith through many different
opportunities, and to build a strong foundation for the rest of their lives. It is with this in mind that the
pulse of the youth ministry of Korean Presbyterian Church of Minnesota is characterized by a “6/60”
focus, where our hope is that the six years spent in the youth group for each student will be preparation,
development, and training for the sixty years after they graduate.

Vision

  • Embrace

We embrace our true identity in Christ, and embrace others in Christ, because Christ embraced us first
  • Empower

We will seek to empower ourselves and others – especially those who are marginalized and oppressed – in Christ, for grace does not keep us where we are, but takes us to where we need to be
  • Engage

We are called to be on mission for God, and so we will seek to be proactive in creating and cultivating meaningful relationships with those near and around us through word and deed</p>

Worship and Meeting Information

The youth group consists of 7th -12th grade students, who normally meet on two days:

  • Sundays – worship service begins at 11:15 AM, with a Bible study afterwards and lunch
  • Fridays – we begin at 7 PM, and these meetings are more casual and devoted to fellowship and in-depth study of God’s Word, followed by a time of snacks and refreshments
